Launch of EIM Verification Programme

The EIM, Jeanologia’s Environmental Impact Measuring software, has been established in the industry for years as a unique and powerful platform for monitoring and improving the environmental impact of garment finishing processes. Today, we are pleased to introduce a new verification program for EIM scores with our long-time partner Jeanologia. As the scores are based on self-declaration data, this verification program provides a way to confirm the integrity of the scores. Looking at the facility from both a management system and overall facility perspective, the program can be used to determine whether a facility is competent in generating self-declared EIM scores using correct data.

The program was developed and successfully piloted with a working group of industry experts and stakeholders, including service provider BluWin, UK fashion brands and retailers Marks and Spencer, Primark, Tesco and a number of their suppliers. “It was important for us to involve an independent player in the process of developing the new verification program. The combination of GoBlu’s industry expertise and capacity in IT solutions development and data intelligence made them an ideal partner for this endeavor”, states BEGOÑA GARCIA, Product Manager at Jeanologia.
