Latest EIM Verification Partner
Minerva Sustainability has officially been approved as an EIM (Environmental Impact Measurement) Verifier Body, marking a significant milestone in its mission to promote sustainable practices in the textile industry. With extensive experience in denim washing, Minerva Sustainability is well positioned to assess and verify environmentally responsible production processes.
EIM, developed by Jeanologia, is a globally recognized tool used to evaluate the environmental impact of garment finishing processes, particularly in denim washing. As the scores are based on self-declaration data, this verification programme developed jointly by Jeanologia and GoBlu International Ltd. provides a way to confirm the integrity of the scores. As a verifier, Minerva Sustainability is able to confirm the scores using technical expertise against water consumption, energy use, chemical impact, and worker health.
"We are thrilled to be recognized as an EIM Verifier Body," said Alaaddin Okur, Sustainability Director at Minerva Sustainability. "Our deep expertise in denim washing and sustainable practices enables us to guide businesses towards reducing their environmental footprint while maintaining high quality production standards."
"We are excited to welcome Minerva Sustainability as the newest Verification Partner in our EIM Verification Programme. Ensuring that our verifiers possess the highest level of expertise is a top priority, and we are excited to have Alaaddin and his team join us in safeguarding the integrity of the EIM Verification Programme." – Claire Hau, Director at GoBlu International Ltd.
